Tammi Lorraine and DOVER&DOVER are on a roll huh? This week they tackle the concept of superficial people. Are women the only ones who are superficial, or are men guilty of it too? Let the conversation begin, as Tammi and Dover break down what makes people superficial. You’ll have to choose who you are going to side with on this one. Dover makes a lot of points, but Tammi doesn’t shy away from asking poignant questions that Dover can’t run from. Another great show! We already knew MEN were superficial, that is not new.
However, I would like to play Devil’s advocate and address the superficiality from another perspective. Women tend to be more critical and superficial of each other, than men are. Women choose which other women they want to connect with based on superficial elements as well. This is current in the work place, schools, etc. In a lot of cases women tend to be drawn to other women with the Prada purses and coach shoes (they want to chill with the women who have the fly appearance). The high schools are a prime example of this. You have young girls being ostracized by other young women, because they do not have a certain look or clothing. I think Dover made a great point when he touched on how women themselves have become very superficial and the things we (WOMEN) do to encourage this behavior. We (WOMEN) need to work on more self love and pride within our selves. We (Women) can start working on this, here is the challenge. The next time we see an not so attractive women in the office or school, let’s invite them to lunch : – )

I’m still loving it. You guys are keeping it real.
I believe that we are all superficial to a certain extent. There is nothing wrong with wanting to look good, drive a nice car and be with someone who you find appealing. We have to balance this with substance. Looking beyond the sexy body, the BMW and the fat bank account. The person has to be as beautiful inside as they are outside. There may come a time when the outside is not what it use to be and the only thing you have to fall back on is personality. Keep the balance…Look good, feel good and be good.

hey good show. “dirty tennis ball” , thats funny. i think Dover is right, certain looks apply to certain people. Personally I like both short and long hair. And there is nothing wrong with trying to like nice. Tammi you want to go to the movies with me?

Great Show! It depends on who you are and what you like. If you like women with long hair that’s what you attracted to. With yall in being in Hollyweird and all that’s what your gonna get down there. Where I am from in the Bay DOVER & DOVER know we have all shapes, styles and sizes up here in women. Are style is a little different. You honestly will find more earthy women then long haired model chicks up here. Let’s just say if I was to holla at you Tammi and you had long hair, then 5 or 6 months later down the line and we are a couple now and you decided to cut your hair I wouldn’t be mad. Only because I know the potential in what you can look like so I would be happy. It just depends on the situation and who the person is. Everybody is superficial though no matter who you are.
